How do I get started?

Every charter school has a different process for purchasing services from an approved vendor. It is usually best for you to reach out to us directly so that we can help you navigate your charter school’s unique process. Most charter schools use a voucher system where you would ask your assigned education specialist/lead teacher/mentor to send us a voucher to purchase services.

Do you tutor students with special needs?

Of course! AG Tutoring LLC was formed by a special education teacher who also happens to have both ADHD and Autism. She also graduated from the #1 university for studying special education (Vanderbilt University).

Fun Fact: There is a lot of evidence emerging in favor of online learning methods vs. in-person instruction specifically for students with disabilities. The key is to do it the right way, using evidence-based methods!

How much does tutoring cost?

For charter schools, elementary school and middle school tutoring is $50/hr. High school tutoring is $60/hr.

How do you meet for tutoring sessions? How and when do students book their tutoring sessions?

All sessions are conducted via Zoom. After we receive your voucher or other form of payment from your charter school, we will email you a coupon code that you can use to book your tutoring services as well as an example video of how to book your services. Essentially, you book tutoring sessions using the booking portal. You just click “book now” and book your service for whichever day/time you desire. At checkout, you just make sure to input your coupon code rather than any payment information.

Which charter schools do you work with?

The majority of our clients come from the following charter schools: Visions in Education, Horizon Charter Schools, and Ocean Grove Charter School. However, we work with so many other charter schools across the United States. You can always check your charter school’s approved vendors list to see if we are on it or ask us to become an approved vendor for your charter school if we are not already an approved vendor.

What happens after I book a tutoring session?

You will immediately receive your Zoom meeting link and a booking confirmation email. Your instructor(s) will reach out to you within 24 hours to introduce themselves. They will provide you with any other information you need for your tutoring sessions. They will also be available to answer any and all questions that you have.

What if I need to cancel a tutoring session?

We ask that you give your tutor at least 24 hour notice prior to the scheduled tutoring session that you wish to cancel. If you fail to give proper notice or do not show up to a session, the tutor reserves the right to still invoice the session in our system. Group classes cannot be canceled.
